Students took their Word of the Day quiz in today's class. Afterward, they received their multiple choice practice quiz that they took yesterday, and we began discussing the answers.

Students took their Word of the Day quiz in today's class. Afterward, we continued reading "The Scarlet Ibis."
Homework: Students need to finish reading "The Scarlet Ibis" by Monday. They also need to have obtained their copy of A Separate Peace and Of Mice and Men by Monday.
Advanced English 9
Students took their Word of the Day quiz in today's class. Afterward, we finished our literary and grammatical analysis of "The Scarlet Ibis" before analyzing the painting The Fall of Icarus.
Homework: Students need to finish their "Ibis" packet if they did not finish it in class. They also need to obtain their copy of A Separate Peace and Dirt Road Home by Monday.
