AP Language and Composition
Students took their first reading quiz on Unbroken in class today.
Homework: Students need to read chapters 9-17 in Unbroken by October 22.
Pre- AP English 9
We finished reading "The Scarlet Ibis" in class today and discussed how we would begin an essay describing the tone, imagery, and diction in the piece.
Homework: Students need to finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Friday, September 26. They also need to make sure to bring their books to class with them tomorrow!
Bible as Literature
Students watched a lecture on Canaanite / pre-Davidic Jerusalem in class today.
