AP Language and Composition
Students took time to analyze George Bush's post-9/11 speech in today's class.
Homework: Students need to study for their Word of the Day quiz which will be given on Monday, September 22. They also need to read chapters 1-8 in Unbroken by Wednesday, September 24.

We continued discussing tone and imagery in class today and began reading through James Hurst's "The Scarlet Ibis."
Homework: Students need to study for their Word of the Day quiz which will be given on Monday, September 22. They also need to read the rest of To Kill a Mockingbird by Friday, September 26.
Bible as Literature
Today, we discussed the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and Abraham's test of faith.
