AP Language and Composition
Students checked over their analysis of V's speech from V for Vendetta, as well as their thesis statements that they wrote about it.
Homework: Students need to study their word of the day and begin reading chapters 1-8 in Unbroken.
Pre-AP English 9
We continued reviewing parts of speech today, playing a review game of prepositions. We also began discussing syntax.
Homework: Students need to study their words of the day and finish reading chapters 11-21 in To Kill a Mockingbird.
Bible as Literature
Today, we read through the Epic of Gilgamesh.
