    1. A white hat hacker
    2. Ethical hackers
    3. I think there is because if your doing it to help the government or find a something not personal information. Also because original hackers do it to find personal info to benefit the self.
    4. They created a dummy account then, they manipulated the app by making it believe that it had a large group of friends when it was just one person and all the secrets would be coming from them.
How ever much they feel they want. I think that it should be monitored just in case of leaking of other peoples personal information. I think that it needs to be traced back just in case anything that doesn't need to be said isn't and only can be traced back by a place of athority

    1. Benjamin Caudill is a white hat hacker
    2. They are "ethical" hackers
    3. I believe that all hackers are the same.
    4. The hackers created a lot of fake accounts and became friends with them, so they could see other peoples 'secrets'.
    5. I think that people should put very little online anonymously. I also think that people should monitor what they put online. If you're worried about someone hacking into your account on an anonymous site and find out what you're saying, you shouldn't be posting whatever you were posting in the first place. Online privacy is extremely important, especially for younger adults and teens. For example, the private setting on Instagram is very helpful to protect the online privacy of people who don't want everyone look at their pictures.

    1. Along with another person were able to identify the names of people behind the supposedly anonymous posts on Secret by using personal e-mail addresses.
    2. ethical hackers
    3. I think all hackers are the same
    4. When you sign up it goes through your contact list and and adds friends to your feed. But instead they created dummy accounts and fake emails and checked the feed.
    5. Everyone and thing should be monitored. This is how illegal or other activity that is considered bad happen bc nothing is thou rally monitored by the source. There Is a fine line between privacy and anonymous activity to hurt another person.

    1) A white-hat hacker.
    2) They are people who consider themselves ethical hackers.
    3) All hackers are the same, they all are hackers. Some may be better than others, but they are still hackers.
    4) Basically, the hackers just set up fake pages to see if the app (Secret) was really anonymous.
    5) People should able to post everything anonymous on a website that claims to keep them anonymous. The people should be able to post their stuff without being traced because the website claimed to keep your personal info private. Online privacy is extremely important because you don't want your secrets falling into the hands of the wrong person.

    1. A white hat hacker
2.people who are considered "ethical" hackers
    3. I think that there is such thing as an ethical hacker, as long as you have the proper morals you are doing the right thing.
    4. using a fake email or phone number, they were able to convince the program that they had 50+ friends when they only had one, allowing them to know what that person was saying.
5.I think that when promised anonymity the consumer should get complete anonymity, although when you post something to a program that requires a phone number or Facebook, you shouldn't expect to be one-hundred percent anonymous.

    1) He is a "white-hat hacker"
    2) They are hackers that hacks only to test organizations security strengths
    3) I think that if the "white hacker" was working with the said organization, trying to improve the strength of the security it would be completely different then plain hacking.
    4) They created dummy accounts to trick the app into thinking that they had a large group of friends, one real person would be added so they secret would be identified as theirs.
    5) I think if a person is using an app solely for the purpose of being anonymous then the app should live up to the expectations it promised. but i do think it should be monitored in case someone is trying to plan something harmful, but only by workers not by random people hacking the app. online privacy is very important,we shouldn't have to fear our information being discovered.

    2. A "ethical hacker."

    3. There is a difference between "white hackers" and other hackers.

    4. Caudill created several fake accounts in which one of them used an actual email address of a real person.

    5. As much as they want. Not all content should be monitored, only content that is available for the public. Online privacy is very important.

  8. Lorenzo B. Winston:

    1. Benjamin Caudill is one of the two “white-hat hackers” that were able to identify people’s names who were “hiding” behind the supposedly anonymous post on Secret by using personal e-mail addresses.

    2. White-hat hackers, also known as an ethnical computer hacker, or computer security expert, are people who train in infiltration testing and in other testing techniques to provide the security of any organization’s information systems.

    3. In my opinion, I think there is such thing as white-hacker.

    4. The process by which Secret was hacked is that the white-hacker were able to manipulate the process of adding friends to the app and replace real ‘friends’ with dummy accounts we created, causing the application to believe we have a large group of friends and that any one friends’ secret would be anonymous, but really, only the victim was added, so any secrets from friends would be identified as theirs.

    5. I think that people should post anonymously when necessary, which is about 25-40% of the time; I think that people should be available to post anything with an assurance that it can be traced back to them; in my opinion online privacy is the ultimate most important thing about internet safety.

  9. Carter Billings 3rd Period (1 He is one of the "white-hat hackers" that hacked into the app Secret, and exposed the names of people who posted on the app. (2 They are people who consider themselves ethical hackers. (3 In my opinion hackers who want to commit crimes through hacking is wrong, but these "white hackers" who expose truths with the intention to show flaws and correct those flaws, its ok to a certain extent. (4 The hackers added one real friend who was an actual person, then they created dummy accounts and added them as a friend. So when the had dummy accounts and one real account they were able to tell who was posting the secrets. (5 People should be able to put as much as they want on the internet. I think that content should be monitored to some extent, but every one should know that if you post something on the internet it has the possibility of being traced back to you. Online privacy is a big thing, but people should know not to trust the internet with secrets. There are something's that are not internet appropriate, and there are things even security systems and online privacy can no prevent from happening. A good rule is if you wouldn't show something or say something to someone in person you probably don't need to post it on the internet.

    1. A "white-hat hacker" who worked with Bryan Seely to find names of people who are behind the anonymous posts.
    2. Someone who considers themselves as an ethical hacker.
    3. In my opinion, white hackers are not the same as all other hackers. White hackers and like good/truthful hackers trying to help; other hackers try to destroy or do wrong.
    4. Secret was hacked by using personal emails to create fake accounts.
    5. I think that all content should be monitored because some people post mean harmful things online, and it can really get to the victim. I would want to trace someone down if they were posting hurtful things about me anonymously.

    3. I think that white hackers are safer than other hackers who are trying to get personal information like credit card numbers
4 they were able to manipulate the process of adding friends to the app and replace real ‘friends’ with dummy accounts which they created, which led the application to believe that they had a large group of friends and that any one friends’ secret would be anonymous
    5. I think all content should be monitored because people could get hard and get away with certain things they shouldn't

    1. Benjamin Caudill was the man who identified people behind supposedly anonymous posts.

    3. there is such a thing as a white hacker, because they hack the system to show the developers holes in the security.
    4. Secret was hacked by Benjamin and Bryan who deleted their real contacts, created dummy secret accounts and add one real email to the list, so whenever that person posted a secret, the secret would be identified as theirs.
    5. nothing, all content should be monitored. online privacy is not important, if you need to say something to someone else, you should be able to say it to them to their face or directly with your username, or you shouldn't say it at all, because it probably isn't your business. You shouldn't be able to say anything anonymous, because if specific people are given that type of freedom, it could be used to hurt someone or put them down.

    2. Someone who considers them self an ethical hacker.
    3. I think there are ethical hackers who make large contributions to humanity, such as Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, but there are also hackers who do nothing but nonsense. It is crucial that people see the difference between the two.
    4. A phony account is made, the contacts on the device being used are deleted, and other people's email addresses are put into application as friends.
    5. I think everyone should have the choice of anonymity if they choose, but with the possibility for it to be traced due to issues such as cyber-bullying. However if problems such as this didn't exist I would say that tracing is also unnecessary.

    1. Benjamin Caudill was able to identify the names of people behind the anonymous posts by using personal e-mail addresses.

    2. "White hackers" consider themselves ethical hackers.

    3. In my opinion, I believe that all hackers are the same because they are all breaking into someone's personal account no matter how they do it.

    4. The hackers made fake accounts to replace the real ones, but left only one real account. Therefore, leaving only one real person's secrets to be revealed.

    5. I don't believe that people should be able to post on any website anonymously because if it is not monitored, someone could get bullied or hurtful things could be said. All content should be monitored because some of the things that people posts are hurtful or just unacceptable. I still believe that online privacy is important under the circumstances of if it is not harmful to someone else.

    4. Secret was basically hacked by a group of people creating a bunch of fake accounts to see what would happen and they figured out a way to successfully hack the program.
    5. People should be able to privately post things, but there also is things that are too over the top that people shouldn't share. Personally, I agree that all content should be monitored and approved before being put somewhere no matter what it is.Also, online privacy is extremely important to an extent, but the owner stating that the consumer has privacy should keep a watch on what people say.

    4. Bradley Eddy is the TPS Director of Certified Talent
    5. One of the school systems former students learned Spanish and returned to teach in the school system, this is how they prove their bilingual recruitment a success
    6. In my opinion the teacher should be required to be bilingual no matter the subject he or she may teach. The teacher can help Spanish speaking children or get to know some more background on them.
    7. We should accommodate to those who speak a different language because they are not fond of ours. By interacting the two languages we can learn from each other that way neither of us will lose our native tongue. They should not be forced to learn and utilize the English language because they might be here temporarily.

1- One of the " white hackers."
2- Those who consider themselves ethical hackers.
3- In my opinion all hackers are the same. They are both somehow manipulating a website into doing something its not supposed to do and invading peoples privacy.
4- They delete all their real friends and create all fake friends with fake information except for one person who they really have their real information so whenever the real person posts something they will know its them because they know all the other accounts are fake.
5- I think privacy is very important but there is an extent to which you should not post something and you should get alerted. Everyone deserves privacy because whoever is behind the other side of the screen monitoring you probably doesn't have someone monitoring what they do on snapchat or instagram. Also, I don't think people should be able to post rude things and get away with it because there is some very rude things being said on social media and nothing is done about it. So, I definitely think there is an extent to where monitoring is needed very much so but people also deserve some privacy.

  18. 1. Caudil s a white hat hacker.
    2. A white hat hacker is an ethical hacker.
    3. There is definitely a difference between white hats and black hats. White Hat hackers are all the hackers who hack for either a fun pastime or as a job. Some are even payed to protect against the malicious attacks formed by black hats.
    4. Because Secret doesn't require any form of verification to join, it is possible to form many dummy accounts. By doing this and adding one real friend into the mix, you can easily link all the secrets posted back to that one person, eliminating the "anonymity" of the app.
    5. Online privacy is very important, but at this point I don't believe it exists anymore. Everything can and will be traced back to the poster (as it should be) should the need arise. Anonymity is not some type of mask that hides you from being traced or followed, it is just there for anonymity amongst your peers. It is very important all information can be tracked, or else the internet would become the hub of seedy criminal activity. Online privacy is important, but absolute privacy is not safe.

  19. Ke-Anna' Rich: 1. A white-hat hacker
    2. An ethical hacker
    3. I think that there are "white hackers" because they don't hack to take your
information, they hack to show you how easy it is for someone who wants to harm you
    to take it.
    4. They replaced their friend contacts with fake contacts, and left one real contact so it
looks like it came from the real person.
    5. People should be only able to post embarrassing stories or some conversations with
friends anonymously. I think only some content should be monitored, but people
shouldn't have to worry about someone tracing a comment back to them. Online
privacy is extremely important, because nobody wants some person that they don't
know looking at everything they say online, but in some cases, like if someone
threatens somebody else, then privacy shouldn't be the main concern.
