AP Language and Composition
Students partook in a grammar review in class today, having the opportunity to turn the review into extra credit.
Homework: Students need to finish reading chapters 1-8 in Unbroken by Wednesday, September 24. They also need to study for their Word of the Day quiz, which will be given on Monday, September 22.
Pre-AP English 9
In today's class we finished our discussion of the subject and object case of pronouns. We also began a discussion of tone and mood and how they are created by diction and imagery.
Homework: Students need to finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Friday, September 26. They also need to study for their Word of the Day quiz, which will be given on Monday, September 22.
Bible as Literature
We discussed Genesis 17-19 in class today.
