AP Language and Composition
After taking the word of the day quiz, we spent time reviewing the speech from the opening of The Newsroom.
Homework: Students need to read chapters 1-8 in Unbroken by Wednesday, September 24.
Pre-AP English 9
After taking the word of the day quiz, we reviewed sentence structure and discussed major talking points in To Kill a Mockingbird.
Homework: Students need to study for the second TKAM test, which will be given tomorrow.
Bible as Literature
We finished our comparison of Deluge stories in class today. Afterwards, students finished a test review.
Homework: Students need to study for the test that will be given tomorrow. The test will cover Genesis 4-9, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and words of the day.
