AP Language and Composition
Students took time to cold-grade sample AP essays in class today, before peer-editing each others' essays.
Homework: Students need to revise and re-write their essays at home this weekend. They will be due at the first of class on Monday.
Pre-AP English 9
Students practiced sentence combining in class today. We also began discussing prejudice in leadership as a precursor to our current events debate on Monday.
Homework: Students can get a head start on finishing To Kill a Mockingbird this weekend if they want to; otherwise, students do not have any homework this weekend.
Reading the Bible as Literature
Students worked on being code-breakers in class today and had the chance to earn some extra credit.
