AP Language and Composition
We continued discussing rhetorical devices and strategies in class today, and we will begin putting them into practice tomorrow!
Homework: Students need to study for their WOD quiz, which will be given Friday. They also need to obtain their copy of Lauren Hillebrand's Unbroken. We will begin reading it on Tuesday, September 2.

Students continued their research in the library today.
Homework: Students need to study for their WOD quiz, which will be given Friday. They also need to read chapters 1-10 in To Kill a Mockinbgbird by Wednesday, September 27.
Reading the Bible as Literature
Today, we analyzed art and poetry that alludes to the Biblical Creation account and the Fall of man.
Homework: Students need to study for the their first content test that will be given on Friday. It will cover everything we have gone over in class thus far (all PowerPoints, class notes, words of the day, and the action of Genesis 1-3.)
