AP Language and Composition
We continued discussing rhetorical strategies and devices in class today.
Homework: Students need to obtain their copy of Lauren Hillebrand's Unbroken. We will begin reading it on Monday, September 1. Students should also be studying for their word of the day quiz, which will be administered on Friday, August 22.
Pre-AP English 9
Students began researching their Civil Rights project in the library today.
Homework: Students should be reading the first ten chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird. They should be read by Wednesday, August 27. Students should also be studying for their word of the day quiz, which will be administered on Friday, August 22.
Bible as Literature
We continued reading out of Genesis today, covering the creation of man in Genesis 2 and the fall of man in Genesis 3.
Homework: Students need to study for their test that will be administered on Friday, August 22. The test will cover everything we have done in class thusfar.
