We played Taboo in today's class as a review for the rhetorical terms and strategies that we've been discussing.
Homework: Students need to obtain their copy of Unbroken by September 2.
Pre-AP English 9
We began to discuss the symbolism and allusion of To Kill a Mockingbird in class today, as we learned about Harper Lee's Maycomb Economy.
Homework: Students need to finish reading chapters 1-10 in To Kill a Mockingbird and look over their classmates' PowerPoints for the test that will be given tomorrow (Friday, August 29).
Bible as Literature
Students began presenting their projects in class today.
