AP Language and Composition
As we continue to start our year, we began covering rhetorical analysis terms in class today.
Homework: Students need to complete their literary works data sheets for the summer reading novels. They are due in class tomorrow. (Copies of these sheets can be downloaded from the front page of the school's website.) Students will also begin taking their summer reading tests in class tomorrow.

In preparation for our study of To Kill a Mockingbird, we had a debate in today's class about themes that can be found in the novel.

Bible as Literature
We began covering the formation of the Biblical canon in today's class, discussing Biblical analysis terms whose understanding is crucial to studying the Bible.
