AP Language and Composition
We continued reading and analyzing argumentative essays in today's class, focusing on pre-20th century works.
Homework: Students need to study for the Word of the Day quiz that will be given tomorrow.
Pre-AP English 9
We continued reading in The Odyssey today, but because we were not able to finish the poem, the test that was to be given tomorrow will now be given on Tuesday, December 17. Students should take this extra time to study.
Advanced English 9
We finished watching and analyzing Simon Birch in today's class. Afterwards, we began talking about punctuation, including commas, semi-colons, colons, and apostrophes.
