AP Language and Composition
Students took their word of the day quiz today before reading through a selection from Henry David Thoreau.
Homework: Students need to read Fast Food Nation and their nine weeks book before returning from Christmas Break.
Pre-AP English 9
We finished reading The Odyssey in class today, and we reviewed comma usage.
Homework: Students need to study for their Odyssey test, which will be given on Tuesday, December 17. It will cover the Greek Pantheon, The Odyssey, verb mood, parts of speech, and the epic story arc.
Advanced English 9
We finished reviewing punctuation in class today, before reading through several selections from Edgar Allen Poe.
Homework: Students need to study for their final exam, which will be given on Thursday, December 19. They were given a study guide for the test on Tuesday.
