AP Language and Composition
In today's class, students read over sample argument essays for the prompt about which they wrote last Thursday. Students then graded each others' essays and had a chance to revise the essays before turning them in again.
Homework: Students need to be reading their nine weeks novel along with Fast Food Nation. These are both due when students return from Christmas break.
Pre-AP English 9
We discussed active and passive voice in today's class before reviewing the epic story arc.
Homework: Students need to be reading their nine weeks novel along with Fablehaven. These are both due when students return from Christmas break.
Advanced English 9
We finished Romeo and Juliet in class today.
Homework: Students need to study their Shakespeare notes, the play Romeo and Juliet, and their notes on active and passive voice in preparation for their Shakespeare test, which will be given tomorrow.
