After discussing the state of education in Alabama, and how education can lead to the development of a dystopian society, students began watching Waiting for Superman, a documentary that portrays the state of education in America and explores possible solutions to our educational crisis.
Homework: Students need to finish reading chapters 9-12 in Lord of the Flies.
AHSGE Reading Review
We continued our education discussion in class today, watching the documentary Waiting for Superman and using it as a conduit to discuss possible solutions to the educational problems that face our society today.
