Students took the Lord of the Flies Unit test in class today. Afterward, they were given copies of Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" and O. Henry's "The Ransom of Red Chief."
Homework: Students should be reviewing for the final exam nightly. A copy of the study guide can be downloaded by clicking here.
Also, students need to read "The Ransom of Red Chief" by the time they come to class tomorrow.
AHSGE Reading Review
As our nine weeks draws to a close, today we began discussing different literary topics that may possibly appear on the reading portion of the graduation exam. For today's lesson, we discussed heraldry and the Arthurian legend.
