Pre-AP
Students took the second test on Lord of the Flies in class today. Following the test, we finished discussing important events in chapters 4-5 of the novel, and then we began discussing the next two chapters of the novel as well.
Homework: Students need to read chapters 6-8 in Lord of the Flies in preparation for a test on Monday, May 7th. This test will cover Words of the Day, sentence objects and complements (predicate adjectives, predicate nominatives, etc.), and chapters 6-8 in Lord of the Flies.

We continued our study of poetry in today's class, analyzing Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
