Pre-AP English 9 (1st)
In class today, we read Langston Hughes' short story "Thank You Ma'am" and began reading Chris Offutt's "Chuck's Bucket."
Homework: Students need to finish reading "Chuck's Bucket" before class tomorrow.
Pre-AP English 9 (5th)
We began reading selections from Edgar Allen Poe in today's class. We read through and analyzed "The Raven" and began reading "The Cask of Amontillado."
