AP Language and Composition
Students wrote a synthesis essay in class today.
Homework: Students can go to the following Quizlet website, made by one of their peers, to review terms that may be unfamiliar to them and that they may see on the AP exam.
Pre-AP English 9 (1st)
We spent time in today's class peer-reviewing the essays that the students have written over the past week. We then read Poe's "The Raven" and annotated it for specific uses of imagery, allusion, and characterization.
Pre-AP English 9 (5th)
Students quoted the first twelve lines of "The Canterbury Tales Prologue" in today's class, before we began reading through Romeo and Juliet.
Homework: Students need to study through the PowerPoint notes on Shakespeare and finish reading Act I of Romeo and Juliet tonight. You can download the PowerPoint notes by clicking here.
