AP Language and Composition
After reviewing comma usage, we held a current events debate in today's class.
Homework: Students need to finish their introductory argumentative paragraphs from today's debate. They also need to obtain their copy of Truman Capote's In Cold Blood.
Pre-AP English 9
After reviewing commas in today's class, we held a truncated current events debate before continuing our study of Romeo and Juliet.
Homework: Students need to finish memorizing the opening twelve lines of The Canterbury Tales in the original pronunciation. They will recite these to me tomorrow.
Reading the Bible as Literature
We finished our study of Judges in today's class.
Homework: Students need to make sure that they have all of the notes for Joshua, Judges, and Ruth, along with their Biblical concepts (words of the day).
