Students read and analyzed an article written by Alfred Hitchcock in class today.
Homework: Students need to purchase their copy of The Metamorphosis by Monday, November 2.
Pre-AP English 9
We continued a discussion that carried over from last week about southern folklore and the Southern Gothic genre.
Homework: Students need to finish their reading selection from To Kill a Mockingbird before class on Monday. They should also begin getting sources together for their essay and annotated bibliography.
Reading the Bible as Literature
We focused on studying about the Ten Plagues of Egypt in class today and correlating them to the Egyptian deity of the day.
