Welcome to the final, full two weeks of the semester!
Pre-AP English 9
After reviewing a bit of grammar, we spent the majority of our time today covering what we could of what is left of the poetry survey that we started last week. For a PowerPoint copy of the notes, please refer to last Monday's blog post. (Monday, November 26th)
Homework: Students need to finish reading chapters 5-9 in A Separate Peace by tomorrow!
English 10
After reviewing intra-text punctuation, we spent the rest of our class time talking about Dark Romantic literature and the American Gothic. We then read selections from Romantic writers such as Ralph Waldo Emerson.
