AP Language and Composition
Students took a multiple choice practice exam in class today.
Homework: Students need to read Part I of Columbine by Monday, January 27.
Pre-AP English 9 (1st)
Students recited the first twelve lines of The Canterbury Tales prologue in class today. They also "translated" the "Balcony Scene" into modern-day vernacular.
Homework: Students need to read Act I of Romeo and Juliet by Monday, January 27.
Pre-AP English 9 (5th)
Students finished presenting their research in class today. Then, we finished analyzing and annotating Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.
Homework: Students need to read chapters 11-21 of To Kill a Mockingbird by Monday, January 27.
