AP Language and Composition
Students wrote a synthesis essay in class today.
Homework: Students need to finish The Things They Carried by April 17.
They also need to obtain their copy of Columbine by April 17.
Finally, students need to consistently work on their video presentations of their Vietnam research. They are due April 20.
Pre-AP English 9
Students learned how to rhetorically analyze propaganda in class today, and they gave presentations on pop-culture propaganda that they analyzed.
Homework: Students need to have their copy of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, by Monday, April 13. They should also go ahead and obtain their copy of The Lord of the Flies.
Reading the Bible as Literature
Students took Part 1 of their Prophets Test in class today.
Homework: Students need to study for Part 2 of the test, which will be given tomorrow.
