Pre-AP English 9
Today, we discussed several different rhetorical terms that are used as tools in literary analysis.
Homework: Students need to read books 3-5 of Runemarks by Wednesday, February 6th. They also need to get a copy of Romeo and Juliet by February 8th.
English 10
We continued discussing commas in today's class. Afterwards, we read through "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." Finally, we discussed propaganda.
AHSGE Reading Review
The American Gothic dominated our discussion today. We read through Poe's "The Raven" and discussed how it is perfectly indicative of the American Gothic's unique characteristics.
