Pre-AP
In today's class, students took the Romeo and Juliet Act IV test which also covered Words of the Day and verbals.
Homework: Students need to finish Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes and begin on the essay that was assigned on Monday. (For the prompt, see Monday, January 23rd's post.) Students need to remember all of the formal grammar rules we have been discussing in class as well as the specific MLA style rules that they were given in class. The essay is due Monday, January 30th.
AHSGE Reading Review
In today's class, we completed some further practice with organizational patterns and moved on to discussing directions and how important it is to read and follow directions explicitly.
