AP Language and Composition
Students read an article in today's class that denigrated the practice of hunting. Students attempted to set aside personal beliefs about the article in order to analyze the argument being made.
Homework: Students need to read Part IV of In Cold Blood by Monday, March 28.
Pre-AP English 9
Students studied vocabulary related to Lord of the Flies in class today before studying some of the prominent literary characteristics of the novel.
Homework: Students need to read chapters 7-8 in Lord of the Flies tonight.
Reading the Bible as Literature
Students continued studying the book of Job in today's class.
