We discussed argument in class today, attempted to define it, and began to use that definition in argumentative evaluation.

Students discussed the parts of speech in class today and used them to begin their obsession journals.

Reading the Bible as Literature
We began our discussion of Biblical terminology in today's class.

2. You can't really call the shooter a "jihadist" without proper evidence. It comes off as a racial stereotype for him to say that so soon, as perverted and horrible as it may be.
3. Ash Carter is the U.S. Secratary of Defense.
4. He was spending time with his uncle to help him with his drug problems and get him away from some bad friends.
5. Biden makes the comment that all those killed in the shooting were like his sons.
6. While the attacks may have been an act of terror, Biden shouldn't have jumped to conclusions with his statements. This could very well cause a backlash from the Middle Eastern countries. The conflicting responses of Biden and the Defense Department seem to show a lack of respect on either side between the two.
