After a discussion about racism and prejudice, we began discussing poetry in class today.
Homework: Students need to finish annotating the selections from Tennyson's In Memoriam for class on Monday.
Students also need to buy their copy of Boy in the Striped Pajamas by Monday, March 11th.
EXTRA CREDIT! Students may write the typed essay on Romeo and Juliet and Simon Birch and turn it in on Monday for up to thirty points of extra credit.

In class today, we began our discussion of the Age of Reason, in preparation for our study of America's founding fathers and found documents.
AHSGE Reading Review
In today's class, we finished discussing post-modernism and read through several short stories to determine whether or not they are post-modern.
