In today's class, we began discussing the importance of the oral tradition. Specifically, we discussed folktales and fairytales and how these coventions are important to the analysis of these types of work.
Homework: Students need to finish their notecards for their summer reading, and they also need to study for The Hobbit test that will be given tomorrow.
Also, students need to make sure to procure their copy of Runemarks by Joanne Harris by January, 21st.
