Pre-AP English 9
After discussing appositives and prepositions briefly, we began reading through Act I of Romeo and Juliet today, paying special attention to Shakespeare's use of classical and Biblical allusions.

Homework: Students need to carefully review their Shakespeare notes in preparation for the test on Wednesday. They also need to review their notes from our in-class reading of Romeo and Juliet.

Our class was cut a little short today by an in-school concert, but we were able to discuss main ideas and begin chunking Act II of The Crucible.
