Another summer has passed, and another school year is beginning! I hope that you are all as excited as you can be about the great things we will learn, discuss, and do this year!
Please make sure to bookmark this website as it will be one of your best sources of information about the classes that I teach. Here, you will find a daily recap of each class's activities, homework (if assigned), due dates for projects, readings, and papers, and extra help for especially difficult concepts that we cover in class.
Here, you will also find the AP and Pre-AP weekly current events blogs. This is the site where students will read AND respond to the weekly current events article which they are assigned.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me (jlray@tcss.net) or call the school and leave a message (342.2800),
AP Language and Composition
Today, we took the time to introduce ourselves and discuss the expectations for the course.
Homework: Students and parents need to read through the syllabus and sign the final page, acknowledging that they understand all of the class policies and procedures outlined therein. They also need to read through the parental course content letter and sign that final page as well. Both of these pages are due back on Monday, August 11th and will be counted for a grade.
